This is a very lovely location for a meal, great menu and wonderful food. Staff are very freindly and give honest guidance about any delays, the day we visited they were understaffed and we were made aware on arrival of expected delay, so ...
A hidden gem. Our second visit. This time with our son, daughter in law and grandson. Firstly the service is excellent. The staff are very accommodating in every way. Secondly the food is absolutely fantastic and very tasty. Fresh and of very good quality. This time we tried the cakes too. So many to choose from. We couldn't decide and had 2 12 portions of different cakes. It was lovely that there were also decent and tasty choices for our grandson. Highly recommended for a tasty lunch
We came here as part of a day trip, quite a secluded area, surrounded by fishing lakes in the countryside. Enough parking, cute little tea room, there was no scones which i was looking forward to, which means I'll have to return! Great outdoor seating area and lovely play area for toddlers!
Four of us visited for afternoon tea to celebrate a 95th birthday. Superb food with delicious cakes. The girls were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend
Enjoyed a lunch here today with my work team, absolutely beautiful place. Food was amazing, everyone enjoyed and we all had different options including a vegetarian meal. Staff were lovely, very welcoming. Will definitely be back with the kids in tow x
What a hidden gem The staff were all so friendly, such a warm charming environment. Beautiful homemade cakes and food. I had the most amazing soup and hubby had a ploughman's.. Honestly best soup I've had in a long time. We had a teacake afterwards which came out with fresh fruit and a candle for my birthday will definately return. Thank you Manvell xx
A lovely little tea room with helpful, friendly service. The food was phenomenal, i highly reccomend the broccoli and stilton soup. Items are a tad on the expensive side though
This is everything a tea room should be. Excellent salads, breakfasts, lunches, cream teas and cakes. Indoor and outdoor seating with ducks and geese for entertainment.
